1976 Stingray matching numbers. Stock 350 rebuilt, comp cam, roller rockers, push rods, 2.02 valves, +.30 flat tops, frontend & suspension rebuilt Dec 08. Interior from firewall 90% July. New exhaust, Collector plates, Paint will have to wait...& wait.

Hi Paul and Claire...Missed this thread in January so thought I would join in now. I live in Vernon and go to the track a bit, recognized the 72 from Sun Valley. I have a white 69 chev pick up (not on the road) so relate to the 72 when you are racing. Also have a 76 been working on for awhile and getting close to being on the road. Will look for you both at the track, hope to meet up with you one day. This is a great site for info, would like to meet up with some of the other site members also. Take care, Eric...

Two corvette light blue 79's I have a 78 the firs year for the color if I can just figure out how to post the picture, don't see many around and always asked what color is it white!  Welcome to the show!

CLB was the original color of my  79 - but I didn't own it before it changed to darker shades of blue...
 
Jaws79 has a 79 Corvette Light Blue - basically was a mirror image of mine...L48. dark blue interior, AC, etc...

well i would like to say that you should try to make it to the members in bend oregon, there is someone else coming from b.c.  we would love to help you and claire to be able to make this event.  it is on the west coast every 3 years. would i have no c3 anymore but i do have friends here so i still have to visit every day.

I would concur.  Bend would be a longish day's drive or two really easy days.  The people are awesome - especially those from the Pacific Northwest.

my wife had her 1979 Corvette since new,it was a demostration model on the lot she bought it from so it had 5000 KMS already.It it that very light blue with a L48 Auto
