Hmmm...seems a lot of guys are saying it's okay to give them they're own forum/space/section, whatever...
But...fact is, they already have that. It is the Vette Women's forum.
I think it should totally be for the ladies only. If the ladies have tech questions or such, then there is the rest of the C3VR site for them to post in.
My vote/opinion is to lock the doors to the ladies room, and keep the menfolk out.
I also agree with having one of the ladies moderate it, keeping it testosterone-free.
The irony of posting this question, in this forum, has just hit me...
most of the responses have been from guys...

I thought it was already set up that way.
The guys could look, but not touch.
Unless the new forum software unlocked the door.
Now if you wanted to make it real private for them, make it like the moderators forum where the guys can't even see what they are saying about us.

But I would want the same thing for us males so we can tell dirty little lies about them as well.
Of course, then Karen will go sneaking over to Parrothead's computer.

Would I do something like that????

Yep....
Although, sometimes ignorance is bliss!

By the way, when I first joined C3VR the Vette Women's forum was DEAD! Didn't really come to life until the guys had the informal OK to post there. My $ .02. Maybe there are now enough female members to support a separate forum...??? Whatever.....
I saw this post in the recent topic list, so like Larry this is the first time I've ever been in here. I have no problem with lockup. Its up to you girls. My $.02

Vette(s): 1981 Cream exterior, camel interior. Looks great, runs good.
I think it would be nice to have a "spot/place" where only ladies can chat. The guys have been quite helpful in this forum, but for me it's rare to have a forum for lady vette lovers.
I'm in 2 clubs in NY and they very male dominated. Nice guys, but hardly any female input. I would love to get together/talk about the car with some ladies from my area.
I agree we could still go to other forums for help or to chat with the guys. Fellows, you still rock!!

Yeah, dwright those were some great posts. By the way where is Victor, NY? Is that upstate?
Greypop. I see you're an artist. My son is 13 and also an artist. He takes classes and draws a lot of "still life". Currently he's auditioned for some of the art High Schools in NYC. Which area of art expression do you find most lucrative?

June - I'm into oils, murals, and caricatures. I like to paint and draw people mainly, but I can draw or paint anything. I probably could have been more advanced in my career if I had not givin most of my time and effort to my son. But, now he's gone and so I'm startin' over....
