I seem to have a battery drain that will kill the battery voltage in a week or less. This is what I have found so far:
With an amp meter connected in serial to the neg battery side I am see a draw of 0.9 amps with the switch turned off. If I pull all the fuses, I am still getting a draw of 0.6 amps. There is a 20a fuse in the orange wire ( I don't see this in the wiring diagrams ) that runs from the junction box at the positive side of the battery to the oil sender and FP relay. When this fuse is pulled (with all the others removed as well), I am down to 0.13 amps. With this 20a fuse pulled, I get 12v on the battery side of the connection (which is right) but I am getting 2v on the other side. I think this should be at zero.
I currently have the gauge cluster as well as the center console removed so these should not have any connections to anything. I have pulled the bulbs on the floor and overhead courtesy lights so these should be off as well. Glove box light is disconnnected. I can see a slight current draw change when I install and remove the courtesy and gauge fuses.
I was having trouble with the courtesy light staying on before so that is why I pulled all the bulbs. I have pulled and replaced the dash and when I started to reinstall, I was getting signals to all the gauges but was not getting any lights to them or the speedo cluster. Not sure whether I had these before or not.
Think I have everything covered but probably missing something. Any help would be appreciated.
