Life-sized pics can be an issue....I fixed it for ya.
That is a core plug....basically a soft metal plug pressed into the bore, and then peened to hold it in. There are several of the same type plugs on the bottom of the carb bowl that leak,too. The best way to fix them without using an epoxy is to simply tap around the circumference of the plug with a small hammer. This will tighten the plug in the bore.
There is a
JB Weld product that is specifically made to use with gasoline that will work. The regular JB Weld will not normally stand up to fuels...even tho they say it will. It does need to be mixed properly to work.
