I bought a 1969 coupe as a parts car. The price was right, and the car is 95% complete. But I cannot bring myself to butcher it..... YET... It was someones project that they just chose not to finish. It is numbers matching, 350/300hp, Auto, A/C...Missing some interior peices and seats. Originally Monza Red/ black interior. Window frame was rusted out but has been replaced. Original VIN tag is still on removed post and is complete. Frame and suspension are still in good shape. Front clip has been removed, and has minor damage to lower valance. Front bumper is bent. Rally wheels are complete with trim. Remaining windows are, including pop out rear are complete. Most trim is there. Doors and rear clip are in good shape. T-tops are good. Clean Texas Title.
Although I would love to take on another project, and rather than use it for parts, I would much rather see someone else rebuild it. A car that is this complete should be kept intact. So I have chosen to put it up for sale for a couple of weeks. If it sells, then it is meant to be. If it does not, then I will salvage the parts that I originally bought it for, and part out the rest of it. $4000.00
