The spare in "The Toy" is a well worn Goodyear F-70. I doubt it is the original spare looking at it and it probably doesn't have any value based on its condition. I should really replace it before taking the car very far from home again.
The original tires were still on
"The Beast" when we purchased it in the fall of '06. There were only 7,500 miles on them, they still had a lot of the 'new needles' on them, but they all were checked and cracked so were an accident waiting to happen. All four were replaced and the originals are bagged and stored away in the cellar incase the next caretaker of the car wants them. If not they'll go on 'FleaBay' so a NCRS type can use them. I do need to drop the spare and check it out (good point!
). It should be replaced before the next long road trip as I'm sure it is also the original (which I'll bag and store with the others).
