We are down to only 4 Acres in our "One Acre Club" program! If you've been on the fence about purchasing an acre - now's the time. When they are gone, they're gone!
Steve and Paulette Blunk
For lifetime members Steve and Paulette Blunk, their adventures in the Corvette world began in 1960. At a junkyard near Steve’s home, he found a 1954 Corvette in dire need of repair. Sadly, his father said no to his pleas to acquire the vehicle, and life went on without it. In 1995, after their two children were grown and on their own, Steve and Paulette purchased their very first Corvette, a 1986 coupe.
In that ’86, the couple participated in the first NCM Corvette Caravan and the Museum’s grand opening event. Their love for the NCM began that day. They are both NCM Ambassadors for the Circle City Corvette Club in Indianapolis and have purchased four commemorative bricks at the Museum.
Steve and Paulette now own two Corvettes, a 2003 50th Anniversary Convertible and a 2006 Z06. “We are proud members of the Museum family and are so happy to now be a part of the One Acre Club,” said Steve. “We look forward to bringing our two ‘Vettes to visit once the NCM Motorsports Park is completed!”
Corvette Enthusiasts of Omaha
The Corvette Enthusiasts of Omaha, also known as C.E.O., consists of 38 dedicated Corvette lovers who are also members of the Cornhusker Corvette Club. Led by Gene and Kathy Gau, they were inspired by NCM Director Wendell Strode to buy an acre. Many of the C.E.O. members are also Museum members, and the rest will soon be.
“All of our members have been to the Museum and know how valuable it is to the Corvette legacy,” said Gene. “Can you imagine how excited we will be to visit when the track is done?!”
The C.E.O. already have plans to come see the Motorsports Park upon its completion, and hope to participate in a few events as well.
