The color is black cherry pearl.  I wanted something that was not a complete departure from the factory burgundy but with some style.

Well, You certainly attained that! I can't wait to see it all together! THEN I want to see it in person! You really have done an excellent job on this project, hanging in there when many people would have thrown in the towel!

Barry

Cool

I hated those lights. It being such a junker is the only way I could afford it at that point on my life.

I have a few detail questions.  Does anyone know if the neutral safety switch on an M-21 is normally open or normally closed?

my tko-600 is normally open and closed in neutral.  i am trying to figure out if I need to flip this.

can anyone send me pictures of the proper mounting of the headlight washers?

to me it looks like it only squirts on the low beam but I really dont know how far "over" and how far in from the front lip to drill the holes.

Neutral switch should be open with the pedal UP(N.O., and closed with the pedal down. Thumbs Up
Not sure on the light washers...Seems like the EARLY systems shot onto both bulbs, later only the low beams, but I can't confirm that....just fuzzy memory. Hopefully someone has a '69 Assembly manual...it will have the info on where the washers go, and how to point them. Big smile

I can do this...if it helps. Shows two sprayers....

on the NSS i was referring to the one of the shift linkage.

i think it should be N.O. but just wanted to be sure.  mine is shot and reads closed at all times (which is why it used to start in gear).

as for the squirters..  i do have an assembly manual and it seems to indicate the top and bottom in the center whereas that picture doesn't really match it

i don't see any way possible to install them and hit the high beam so it must be low only.  how sure are you that the picture is correct?

also.. one more detail.  what about hood insulation?  did they have it in 69? how is it attached if so?
