and left them out. The passengers side latch is located almost directly in front of the hole in the passengers side wiper trough. The part you will be probing for is shown HERE with
a screwdriver. You will need to push DOWN on this part with your
tool. The tool will need to be bent a little in order to get through
the trough and engage the release as you see HERE. This shot shows the tool engaging the release . Since I have to go through the wiper door cover I made a SPECIAL TOOL that you see here with a 12 inch scale. I hope these help you

Once you get your hood open you can install these emergency hood release cables. I installed a pair and they work pretty well. I got these at Corvette Central.
