I bought them in Carlisle in 2001 from Al Knoch.
The do look great, but they were a major PIA to install!

Ok, having never done this before, I am about to learn something. I thought the seats were bolted in with two bolts on each side. Bolt down the front, slide the seat forward and bolt in the back and your're done....is that wrong? How come they were so hard? |headscratch|

Glenn
I pulled my seats to work on the seat-belt retractors and I can answer to why its such a PITA. The carpet has holes to bolt through, but at least in my car getting the hole in the seat, carpet, and floor all lined up properly is darn near impossible.

First, I only replaced the seat cushions, not the seat frames.

The back of the cushions have a wire frame running along the outside edge of the cushion. The frames hook into clamps on the seat frame to hold the cushions in place.

On the old cushions, the wire frames are recessed slightly into the foam of the cushion. On the new cushions, the wire frame is recessed VERY DEEP into the foam. This means that to get the wire frame into the clamps on the seat frame, you have to compress the foam while lining up the frame with the clamp. Bascially, you need three hands.... one to hold the cushion, one to compress the cushion, and the third to line the wire frame up to the clamp.

Does that paint the picture for you?

I'm not sure if the reason the wire frame was recessed so much is because it isn't a factory built piece, or because the foam is so new.
