I am planning to replace my exhaust tips on my LT1 Who has the best quality tips? Should I get stainless steel or chrome? Thanks
Wally71
Hi Wally,
Don't know which of the parts houses out there would be the best to buy from but I would lean towards going with stainless steel. When I redid the exhaust system on "The Toy" I was on a budget and went with chrome ones. It didn't take long for those to show that I should have spent the extra money. But that was a number of years ago so hopefully the quality of aftermarket parts has gotten better.
Thanks Norsky
I would go with Stainless as well
worth the money

I replaced the chrome tips on my 1970 20-30 years ago and they are fine, just exhaust carbon inside. I don't think the price difference at the time was significant.
